Classes have begun

All the students are here now.  Students from Armenia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Iran, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia and Tunisia.  There are four professors, one from Australia, one from Romania and two from US.  One of the US professors is also the Dean and his wife is on guest services team with me.  The wife of the Australian professor was also here but had to leave yesterday for work.

A few of the students speak English and a few we have met before so it's been nice to see them again.     The husband of my Belarus prayer partners speaks English and the wife I think understands a little but doesn't speak it.  Jeff's prayer partner from Kazakhstan doesn't speak English and his other one does as she is one of the translators.  This is where trying Google translate is helpful.  Actually, a guy at my table last night was using Google translate to find the word for beet.
