London Flight departs soon

We're in Dallas!

Yes, we were supposed to go to Chicago, but they moved that flight later which would've caused us to miss our London connection. So first stop is Dallas!

Donations

Thank you to everyone that donated items for the Haus. A variety of items were donated from cake mixes and toiletries, to medicines and multi-vitamins. I know the students will appreciate them and we will post more information on the day the students can visit the benevolence center.

North Carolina

This is my first trip to North Carolina. So far the excitement is the room and a nearby Longhorn Steakhouse. Maybe I'll see something more exciting tomorrow.

The blog setup

As we prepare to Austria in October for our mission trip to serve as workers at TCMI, we want to keep everyone back home up-to-date like our last trip.

Our last trip to Austria was in June of 2008 and we took pictures with Sandy's iPhone and posted them to the blog. At the end of the day we would hike to the computer lab in the horse barn and post our experiences from each day.

Fast forward two years and there are now two iPhones in the family and we are going to try something different to post our trip notes.

Now that the iPhone and iPad can use external keyboards, we are taking a small stand and rollable, yea rollable, bluetooth keyboard to use with the phones to type the longer blog posts. Like this one.

Keep an eye out for more posts as we get closer to the departure and another great adventure.
